I'm Dylan. I roast coffee on Saturday mornings in Rancho Palos Verdes, then deliver it to my neighbors on Sunday.
Most coffee you buy — even the "specialty" stuff at Whole Foods — was roasted weeks or months ago, in a warehouse hundreds of miles away. By the time it reaches you, the aromatics that make great coffee great are already gone.
Verde Cove is the opposite of that. I roast small batches on an Aillio Bullet R1, log every curve, and hand-deliver each bag within 24 hours. No warehouses. No middlemen. No long routes. Just fresh coffee for the Peninsula.
I only roast Gesha — the rarest and most aromatic of coffee varieties — because if I'm going to do this, I want every cup to be worth the ritual.
If you live in 90274 or 90275, I'd love to be your roaster.
— Dylan
P.S. Have questions about brewing, origins, or what makes Gesha special? Just reply to any email — it's me on the other end.
